  EENIGE MEDEDEELINGEN OVER DE SARAMACCANER-BOSCHNEGERS,   DOOR L. JUNKER.   In het boekje van den heer van Lier, posthouder onder de Aucaners „ Iets over de boschnegers in de Boven Marowijne " wordt de sympathie voor de boschnegers in Suriname gevraagd terwille van de zaak hunner beschaving. Deze schrijver bepaalt zich echter hoofdzakelijk tot den stam der Aucaners en laat de Saramaccaners, welke den grootsten en met het oog op de huishouding der Kolonie voornaamsten stam vormen , buiten beschouwing. In het navolgende zal ik, nadat ik eenige noodzakelijke, voor het begrip van de verhalen der boschnegers onontbeerlijke woorden vooraf heb doen gaan en de verhouding der stammen onderling eenigszins heb toegelicht, trachten de overleveringen weer te geven zooals ik deze uit den mond der Saramaccaners heb overgenomen. Deze overleveringen behelzen de geschiedenis van het ontstaan van den stam, hun strijd om de vrijheid, hunne instellingen, opvattingen, zeden en gebruiken.

  Morning Families how are all of you today? I wanted to share one of the reason I am here with all of you. As you all know my mother Anna Clasina  Junker. I was raised in Marchena in Curacao with my Aunt Tante Tiene (rip) which I Love dearly for all her  help and support.
